This is a Dehn parallel connector for lightning protection, made from copper. The type of connection is a parallel plug. It has diameters of round conductors ranging from 1.5 - 16mm, making it appropriate for different cable sizes. It features a galvanically tin-plated surface protection and a hexagonal fastening screw type, eliminating the risk of self-loosening and meeting the DIN EN 62305-3 Supplement 2 standard. It is non-sparking, specifically tested for usage in explosive atmospheres including Ex zones 1, 2 (explosion group IIC gases) and Ex zones 21, 22 (dusts). The lightning current carrying capacity is configured at 10/350 µs 25kA.
