The playing pieces are plastic with a diameter of 13mm. Please note however that the pieces are not the thickest and some may find them rather fiddly...\n\nThe wooden case is nicely constructed and pleasing to the eye. It is secured by two brass clasps.\n\nAll in all, this is a Go set for someone who is happy to trade in some practicality (as it can be a little fiddly) for more premium workmanship and finish.
