With the USB-C to Serial Converter you can easily connect serial peripheral devices with RS-232 interface or COM port to your notebook, ultrabook or Mac book. Since today's PCs usually no longer have serial ports, the adapter is ideal for the operation of e.g. weather stations, sensors, machine controls, modems, or ISDN systems. The serial adapter with a 9-pin D-SUB connector features an FTDI/FT232RL chipset for individual configuration and full-duplex data transfer at up to 128 Mbps. In addition to remote wake-up, power management is also supported - the converter is compatible with Windows (10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP), Mac OS X and Linux. Together with the included USB extension cable, the adapter can be used as approx. 85cm adapter cable or simply used individually as a USB adapter for a COM interface.
