To operate it, the specifics can be dialled in via DMX, but you could also select one of the pre-programmed shows. Either way, there's a built-in stroboscope to add an extra layer of dynamics and, if you have a really large surface you'd like to cover in a mesmerising water effect, it's always possible to synchronise multiple WF-40s in master/slave mode.
