The Varios series cajons are Sela's entry-level models. However, it's also the series with which Sela proved they could offer excellent quality at a reasonable price. The SE 052 Varios has a body made of 15mm-thick birch, which allows for impressive bass, while the frontplate features Sela's Clap Corners and a gorgeous blue-coloured poplar veneer finish. Varios SE-052: possibility The SE052 is a snare cajon, which means that you'll find a set of snare wires behind the frontplate. What's interesting, though, is that these snare wires are removable, allowing you to transition to a traditional Peruvian cajon sound in the blink of an eye. Alternatively, this system also allows you to add an additional set of snare wires (available separately), with which you can adjust the sound of your cajon to suit your preference - something beginners and advanced players alike will appreciate!
