It is a sturdy, black powder-coated aluminium plate with openings on which you can mount peripherals using the QuickMount system. The base plate is easily mounted to the bottom of your Quad 4.3 with the supplied tools. The base plate can be opened, so you can easily make changes to the bottom of your pedalboard.
