These Rohema MT208 Timpani Mallets are very fine sticks for playing timpani softly and dynamically. The stick itself is made of maple and sits very nicely in the hand with a diameter of 12 mm. The stick has a length of 38.5 centimetres and is fitted with a felt head. The head has a cork core and the felt itself is of German origin, high quality and handmade. Due to their 'soft' hardness, these mallets can deliver not only dynamic playing on timpani, but are also definitely suitable for subtle swelling cymbal rolls.
