Developed in Sweden, MIPS is designed to protect the brain from rotational motion during an accident. A movable inner shell is positioned between the helmet’s padding and outer shell, sitting directly against the rider’s head and adjustable for both height and width.In the event of an angled fall, the MIPS shell moves independently to help dissipate rotational forces before they reach the head.
