The Sennheiser EW-DP SKP Y1-3 is a separate plug-on transmitter with recording feature so you can record audio directly to a microSD card. You still need to buy this card yourself. In addition, the EW-DP SKP offers phantom power for condenser microphones, among others. Tie-down microphones can also be connected to it using a 3.5 mm jack input, making the EW-DP SKP transmitter very versatile. Using this transmitter, you can basically make any microphone wireless.
