The animal lived in the late Cretaceous period and probably moved mainly on land where it chased small prey. Until now, only one skull of the animal was found in the Sahara. Therefore, scientists can only guess what it actually looked. But probably the dinosaur was 6 metres long. The Kaprosuchus looks similar to a crocodile thanks to its long nose and the short legs.
