ALL NATURAL: This mortar and pestle set is made of natural granite and comes with a neutral flavour. So, you can muddle fruit, crush nuts or grind spices and herbs into pastes and marinades without affecting the flavour. ANTI-SCRATCH: The mortar bowl features 3 anti-scratch foam feet on the bottom that not only prevent the bowl from scratching your countertop and surface, but also help keep the bowl in place during use. LARGE: With a diameter of 12cm, this mortar bowl has plenty of space to grind large ingredients such as nuts and leaves. Making it possible to make large amounts as well as small amounts of paste. FIRST SEASON: After washing and drying, grind white rice, discard and repeat until it grinds white. Next add and muddle 4 garlic cloves. Add 1tsp cumin, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, grind and discard all. Wash in clean water again and let air dry. NOTE: Do not use detergent on your mortar and pestle. Natural variations in the granite make every set unique from the image shown.
