In the 1970s, Argentine tennis player Guillermo Vilas achieved a series of impressive victories. On the court, he dominated all surfaces and serves. Off the court, he was equally known for his confidence and charisma. In the 80s, we created his signature shoe, the GV Special, which pays tribute to its namesake with an aesthetic that blends court and street styles, still iconic today. Its silhouette features perforated details for breathability, along with a thick sole. Today, the GV Special has been upgraded with new colours and maximum comfort. This version has a synthetic leather base with synthetic leather overlays.
