For our rugs, we have made yarn with a high Newseeland wool content under strict supervision. This yarn gives the natural carpet pile stability and an elegant shine. The yarn is machine-woven using the latest technology to create a woollen rug with the look, feel and durability of a hand-knotted rug with up to 180,000 knots. A special weaving process gives the rug a unique play of colours. Finely coordinated mottling and colour mixes create the look of antique oriental rugs. Traditional oriental designs from Persia or elaborate Aubusson designs from France and China are the origin of our timeless and elegant pattern. Fine lines, motifs from traditional nomadic rugs and also beautiful flowers can be found in our virgin wool rugs.
