This bee parasite dwells on the bees and in the hives, feeding on them. Attacks by varroa mites can weaken bees, making them less able to execute their jobs and support the colony; they can also make bees more susceptible to disease. Hives with high varroa infestation levels generate less honey, are in poorer condition, and are less likely to survive the winter.\n\nThe ProductThymovar\u00AE are cellulose sponge strips containing 15 g of Thymol, a natural plant oil. Thymol is toxic.
