I designed an ear of rice and a dragonfly. Because dragonflies move forward, they are a pattern that was favored by samurai warriors because of their brave forward movement. It is also often used in Kendo towels. Craftsmen dye at a Japanese dyeing factory. Both ends are cut like a traditional tenugui. Not sewn.
