Zvezda 1/72 T-28\n\nRussian Medium Tank\n20mm Scale\nNew, sealed and unbuilt. \nRef No : ZVE5064\nThe T-28 served during the Invasion of Poland, The Winter War in Finland and against the Japanese in 1939. Armed with a 76.2mm gun in the main turret and 4 or 5 DT 7.62mm machine guns as secondary armaments, it was designed as an infantry support tank intended to break through fortified defences. T-28 was designed to complement the heavier T-35. By 1941 it was clear that the T-28 was considered ineffective and despite upgrades in armour it was outclassed by the Panzer IV. However they remained in service until 1944.\n\nWhether for wargaming or just building for display this brand new kit is a beauty.
