The drill bit diameter required for drilling the hole in the concrete is equal to the diameter of the wedge anchor being installed. M16 wedge anchor requires a 16 mm diameter hole. When the anchor is inserted in the drilled hole, clip of the wedge anchor starts to expand during the nut tightening process and creates solid holding of the attached elements.
