Once there, the beans are decaffeinated using one of the most advanced decaffeination technologies in the world, which bears the name of the company that developed it.During the incredibly subtle decaffeination process, nothing but pure water is used. Green coffee beans are submerged in warm water, which causes the caffeine and flavour particles to dissolve. Once that's done, a new batch of beans is immersed in this liquid: this time around, however, caffeine dissolves, yet the taste of the beans is preserved thanks to the flavour-saturated water. As a result, up to 99.9% of caffeine is successfuly removed from the coffee, while its aromas and flavours remain pretty much intact.
