ICM 1/72 BTR-152V\nRussian Armoured Personnel Carrier\n20 mm scale\n\nRef : ICM72531\n\nThe BTR-152 is a Soviet Armoured Personnel Carrier introduced in 1950. It had an open topped troop compartment in the rear with a front mounted engine. The BTR-152 was armed with a 7.62mm SGMB machine gun and had capacity for 2 crew and 18 soldiers. \nThe BTR-152S variant was a command and communication post vehicle for infantry commanders. It has a higher full covered roof as well as additional radios and antennas.\nProduction stopped in 1962 after more than 15,000 had been built. By the 1970s, the BTR-152 was replaced by the 8 wheel Soviet BTR-60 although remained in service until 1993 in various guises.
