ICM 1:35 \u0422-34-85 WWII Soviet Medium Tank Plastic Model Kit \n\n One of the most numerous and famous tanks in world history is the Soviet T-34. It was designed in the Design Bureau of Kharkov plant number 183 under the leadership of M.I. Koshkin. Its serial production was launched in 1940. It was the first mass-production medium tank with anti-projectile armour, and had a powerful diesel engine and 76.2mm long-barrelled gun. It was considered one of the world\u2019s best tanks up to the end of 1941.\n\nThe last modification, T-34-85, with the enlarged three-man turret and more powerful 85mm gun, was in production from January 1944. The T-34 with 85mm guns (D-5T, later \u2013 S-53 and ZiS-S53) became the main Soviet medium tank up until the end of World War II. The Russains produced 25,914 of the T-34-85 tanks in three USSR plants from 1944 to 1946.
