IXO/DEAGOSTINI 1/72 MITSUBISHI A7M2 REPPU (""SAM"") JAPAN WWII JAPANESE FIGHTER 17
IXO for De Agostini
A superb 1/72 diecast WWII IJNAS (Imperial Japanese Naval Air Service) Mitsubishi A7M2 \""Reppu\"" (Strong Wind) fighter, Japan 1944.\nThe Allied reporting name for the aircraft was \""Sam\"".\nIt is from a De Agostini series of World War 2 fighters. The models & stands are the same as those released under the IXO brand some years ago, so I'm pretty sure that this series have been made by IXO for De Agostini.\nThe plane predominantly made from metal & has many small detail accessories, & inter-changeable undercarriage parts.\nThe model measures 4 3/4\"" (120mm) in length & has a wingspan of 6 1/4\"" (157mm).\nIt is presented in a vac-form \""sandwich\"" blister card, & is new, mint & boxed.\nThe Flying Mule says: The Mitsubishi A7M Reppu (Strong Wind) was designed as the successor to the Imperial Japanese Navy's A6M Zero, with development beginning in 1942. Performance objectives were to achieve superior speed, climb, diving, and armament over the Zero, as well as bet.
