The YESS system (Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System) supports the drum at the top and bottom and securely mounts the tom bracket onto the shell using a 3-piece fastening system. This means that the drum is completely isolated and does not touch any other part of the kit to allow it to sing through with maximum sustain.
