Bartoline Fix & Grout 500g Fix & Grout is ideal for fixing tiles to most substrates, including wood and surfaces subject to small movement, and dries super white. Fix & Grout can also be used for tiling areas subject to frequent wetting, such as showers and bathrooms, and is ideal for grouting. Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, sound and free from loose material, grease etc. Prime new plaster/porous surfaces with PVA adhesive. Use an oil-based primer to seal new timber. Directions: As a Tile Adhesive: Apply to surface to be tiled and spread evenly with a notched spatula to a maximum thickness of 3mm. Fix tiles within 20 minutes of applying adhesive and remove excess adhesive with a damp cloth. Allow 24 hours to dry thoroughly before grouting. As a Tile Grout: Push grout into joints using a grout float. Leave for a few minutes to harden and remove excess with a damp cloth or sponge. Use a grout finisher to make joints neat and tidy. Leave to harden overnight then polish with a damp cloth. Protect areas from water until grout has completely dried.
