Exterior Filler Powder is a special cement-based formula ideal for repairing cracks, holes and gaps in exterior rendering, brick, stone, wood and most other building materials. Easy to mix and simple to use. Does not shrink or crack. Has excellent adhesive properties which keep the filler firmly in position and allows a wide range of applications including the setting of non-structural bolts.Preparation:Ensure surfaces to be filled are clean, dry and dust free. For best results brush out loose material and dust from crack or hole to be filled. Moisten absorbent surfaces. Touch in nail heads with an oil-based paint to prevent rusting.Mixing:Only mix an amount that can be used within 60 minutes.Add approximately 2.5 parts filler to 1 part cold water and mix until smooth.Always mix the filler in a clean container as a dirty container can contaminate the filler and affect the drying time.Application:Press filler firmly into the area to be filled and remove any excess. Fill large deep holes in stages. Smooth over using a wet tool, scraper or trowel. Do not use thinly over large areas. Do not use if frost or freezing conditions are expected.Finish:Dries grey. After setting overnight the filler can be left un-painted or alternatively if painting over the repair use an oil-based paint before any further paint is applied.
