Bartoline 1876 Ready Mixed Fine Surface Filler is a high quality ready to use filler developed for the professional user. Its formulation is ideal for repairs to small holes, dents and nicks and a wide range of imperfect interior surfaces. The fine particles enable a smooth finish which dries white and may be overpainted. Suitable to use on walls, ceilings, doors, skirtings and window frames. Bartoline Fine Surface Filler has good adhesion and gives a strong repair in all applications.PREPARATIONEnsure surfaces to be filled are clean, dry and dust free. Hairline cracks should be slightly enlarged to ensure good filler penetration. Lightly moisten highly absorbent surfaces with water prior to application. Touch in nail and screw heads with an oil-based paint to prevent rusting.DIRECTIONSIf necessary, stir filler before use to an even, smooth consistency. Apply a thin layer of filler over the repair using a filling tool or trowel and press firmly into the cavity, ensuring that the repair is completely filled. If a deeper repair is required, build up the filler in thinner layers, or use Bartoline 1876 All Purpose Filler, followed by the Fine Surface Filler. For a perfect finish, fill slightly proud of the surrounding area and use fine abrasive to blend in the repair.CLEANING and STORAGEAfter use, ensure lid is firmly replaced to prevent contents from drying. Remove excess filler from tools prior to cleaning. Clean tools with water before filler sets hard PROTECT FROM FROST.
