--Rim Cylinder NOT Supplied\n\nThe Asec Non-Deadlocking nightlatch automatically locks the door once closed and is ideal for most applications. Using the snib you can either hold the latch back in the retracted position to allow free entry or in the locked position to avoid external manipulation of the latch. On external doors it should be used in conjunction with a British Standard mortice lock. Holding the bolt in the locked position with the snib prevents entry with the key from the outside.
