Formed in 1990 in Liverpool by singer and bassist Edgar \u2018Summertyme\u2019 Jones, guitarist Ged Lynn and drummer Paul Maguire, THE STAIRS quickly attracted a huge cult following with their classic fusion of mid-1960s US garage rock and British R\u2019n\u2019B.\nHaving nearly signed to Imaginary Records, THE STAIRS inked a deal with Go! Discs for three memorable EPs and the album MEXICAN R\u2019n\u2019B (1992).
