Airfix 1/76 WWI Mk IV 'Male' Tank\n\nBritish WWI Tank\n \nNew, sealed and unbuilt. \n\nRef No : AX01315 \nThe Mk IV Tank was the most widely used tank in WWI. It was also the first tank, deriving its name from water tanks the codeword used during its secret development.\n\nThe Mk IV had no turret and a maximum speed of only 3.7mph. The Mk IV Male was armed with a two 6 Pounders carried in a sponson on each side of the tank and a machine gun. The MK IV Female had only machine guns. \nAround 1,200 MK IVs were built with a number being captured and utilised by the Germans who repainted and re-armed them.\nWhether for wargaming or just building for display this brand new kit is a beauty.
