The design cleverly distributes the load over a large area - twice the fixing's diameter - minimising stress on the plasterboard, ensuring even distribution of any stresses over a wide area.Suitable for use with 9.5mm to 15mm plasterboard, GRIPIT fixings are quick and easy to install. Simply mark your spot, drill the hole with the recommended flat drill bit, and tap in the GRIPIT. Insert the included screw and with a simple twist, the wings deploy behind the board, securing the fixing. These Red GRIPIT fixings are supplied complete with 5mm screws.GRIPIT fixings can also be reused; simply turn the wing screws to release and remove them.
