Domus DDSEAL Mastic - 310ml\nDDSEAL vent duct sealant is a high-performance intumescent joint sealant designed for sealing rigid ventilation duct connections and fire-rated building penetrations. Formulated as a water-based acrylic compound, it provides a firm yet flexible seal that helps maintain the integrity of ductwork and surrounding structures.\nIn the presence of heat, the sealant expands and chars to prevent the passage of smoke and flame through joints or gaps, offering fire resistance for up to four hours. It adheres well to common construction materials including timber, plasterboard, masonry and concrete, and can be applied to both horizontal and vertical joints without compromising fire performance.\nSupplied in a 310 ml cartridge, the sealant is easy to apply using a standard cartridge gun and is suitable for sealing duct joints, service penetrations and voids up to 50 mm wide.
