Our water resistant Heavy Weight Canvas tarpaulins are manufactured from single filled cotton duck. Imported from India, these heavyweight sheets are 12oz before proofing, resulting in a robust finished weight of 18oz after wax treatment. Made from 100% cotton, these tan canvas tarpaulins offer a natural alternative to plastic tarpaulins. As they are heavy weight compared to most other tarps they drape well and are more resistant to abrasion and punctures while remaining breathable. Rust resistant brass eyelets are set into tabs at 2ft intervals along the edge and on all four corners. Hems and seams are single-stitched. As our canvas tarps are fabricated from a natural fabric, these tarps are breathable; however please be aware a minimal amount of shrinkage can occur where canvas tarpaulins are subject to varying temperatures. Our robust canvas tarps are wax-proofed to make them water-resistant; they will require re-treating after a period of exposure to water and the elements, in order to maintain their resistant properties.Please Note: our 18oz Canvas tarpaulins are produced to finished size. There can be a slight manufacturing tolerance but we would not expect this to exceed 2-3 inches on either dimension.Canvas tarps can shrink by up to 5%.
