An advanced roof and balcony drainage system, ACO FreeDeck combines line drainage with point drainage using an open-sided drainage channel system. This collects and coveys rainwater to drainage points within a raised or suspended deck structure. These interception points are surface run-off, percolation within the deck and rainwater outlet positions. Installation is easy and quick as the channel needs to simply be laid directly onto the insulation layer or waterproofing membrane. If pavings need to be laid 'open or closed joint', efficient drainage is provided. A great improvement to safety for foot traffic and weathered protection of the building fabric.
