Yamitsu Algae Masters provide a reliable solution for controlling pond algae by using high-quality ultraviolet bulbs to clump free-floating algae cells together so they can be removed more easily by filtration. For best results, installation with solid solvent weld pipe is recommended, although free glue-in hosetails are included for connection to 0.5in, 3/4in, 1in, 1.25in and 1.5in flexible pipe, and the unit will also fit most popular 1.5in household solvent weld waste and pressure pipes. Maximum pond size is 3,250 gallons, or 16,625 litres, with a maximum turnover of 2,500 gallons per hour.
