Big Boy Resin is ideal for repairing cracks, holes, splits, car panels, roofing, boats, furniture, guttering, and leaks, etc on a wide range of surfaces including brick, metal, plastic, wood, aluminium etc. Use Big Boy Resin with Fibre Glass mat of tissue. Once the fibre glass has been soaked with activated resin it will form a tough GRP structure which will permanently retain its moulded shape. When set, the fibre glass is resistant to oil, grease, and petrol and can withstand temperatures of up to 80 degrees Fahrenheit.  ​Polyester resin with suitable liquid activator for manual laminating.   Very good adhesion to metal. Good hardness with high elasticity.  Minimal shrinkage.  Good sanding properties.  Color  Transparent Yellow.  Gloss Grade  Glossy.   SURFACE PREPARATION  The product has very good adhesion to various surfaces. It can be applied over:  Steel and aluminum after flatting and degreasing.   Zinc coated steel after flatting and degreasing.  Sanded glass fibre (GFK/GRP), polyester putties, acrylic and epoxy primers and existing  coatings in good condition.  We recommend sandpaper with gradations: P80 P120.
