The Type W is a dual-function combined weep and ventilator made from durable polypropylene. It features an inclined insect-resistant grille that allows 320mm2 airflow while preventing insect entry. Internal baffles block wind-driven rain. The vent uses positive and negative air pressure to aid its function, allowing cavities to breathe and evacuate water from lintels, trays, and DPCs. The dimensions of the Type W are 105mm x 65mm x 9.5mm, with an extension duct of 200/225mm x 65mm x 10mm. It has a Zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP).
