The GW291 and GW292 Right and Left Hand Intermediate Tray comes with an upstand at one end, allowing water to run down the cavity tray system. This upstand prevents driving rain from penetrating the outer wall and tracking across the masonry. It features a unique front mortar clip that can be removed once the mortar sets, leaving a 25mm deep aperture for inserting and securing lead with lead wedges. The tray also has an injection-molded mortar trap that ensures a clear water path by reducing the risk of blockages from mortar and debris. However, care should still be taken to keep the trays clear. The GW291 and GW292 trays can be supplied with short or long lead securely attached with staples, available in either code 4 or code 5 lead by special order. These trays are part of a brickwork stepped tray system and come with built-in stop ends on one side.
