Replace your faulty fan oven element with this 2 turn, 1900 Watt element. What does the fan oven element do?The fan oven element is responsible for heating the oven cavity in order to cook the food. In an electric cooker when the cooker knob is turned on, electricity flows to the element which causes it to heat up. Once the element reaches the desired temperature then the electricity flow switches on and off to maintain the temperature. This process is controlled by the thermostat. Is the fan oven element causing the problem? The following faults typically indicate a problem with the oven element:o The fan oven is blowing out cold airo The oven won't heat up at allo The element doesn't heat up during operationo There are bright spots or uneven patches on the element during use.*Remember that a blown oven element may not be the only fault that can cause these issues to arise.Beware of associated problems? There are a number of oven faults that can contribute to a faulty oven element and if not corrected they could easily shorten the lifespan of your new replacement element. You need to ensure that hot air isn't escaping from the oven as this will cause the thermostat to cycle more regularly, meaning the fan oven element will need to work much harder to maintain temperature. To avoid heat escaping you should ensure the oven doorseal is in good condition and fits tightly. You should also limit any gaps caused by a poor fitting oven door by replacing the hinges if they have become bent or damaged. Please check model fit list to ensure this part is correct for your model.Specification:2 Turn1900 wattsHeight: 213 (mm)Width 206 mmBracket: 70 mmTags: 24 mm230 volts.
