The kit contains a plastic body and floor, curved spoke metal wheels and a choice of couplings. Chair link couplings are provided as is the standard OO9 type of coupling which has been designed to accept the wire loop from a Bemo OO9 coupling (not supplied) The principal freight traffic on the Festinog Railway was the carriage of finished slate from the quarries of Bleanau Festiniog to the port of Porthmadog. Specially designed slate wagons were provided for this traffic.
