Marshalls Garden
Colourful mix of large double and semi-double dahlias flowering July–October, ideal for borders, large containers and cutting. Plants reach about 1200 mm and provide long late-summer colour when deadheaded regularly. Sow indoors February–April: almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost, sow seeds thinly on the surface, cover lightly and keep at 15–20°C and moist. Grow on in a bright, sheltered spot out of direct sun; when seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant 5 cm apart into trays of potting compost. Harden off for 2–3 weeks and plant out after risk of frost, spacing 45 cm. Remove lower leaves to reduce Botrytis risk, lift plants at the end of the season and allow to go dormant indoors before replanting the following year. Pack contains approximately 50 seeds.
