Cover with cling film and keep in warmth at 15–18 °C. As seedlings develop, remove cling film and grow under cool, light conditions, avoiding direct sunlight. Keep moist.Planting OutGradually acclimatise seedlings to outdoor conditions for 2–3 weeks before planting out, allowing 90 cm between plants, after risk of frost has passed. Water and feed regularly.Sowing OutdoorsWater sowing positions, then sow 2–3 seeds close together in a group 2 cm deep, spacing groups 90 cm apart. After germination, leave only the strongest seedling per group. Keep well watered in dry spells.AftercarePumpkins require frequent watering, especially in dry spells.
