If you're wondering why this chimp champ of a whisky is getting so many puns, it's because the label shows the origin of the phrase ""Monkey Shoulder"". You see, turning the barley on a traditional malting floor (like the one Benriach has recently started using again) was a tough, labour intensive job that would sometimes result in the maltster developing a hunch, affectionately known as the aforementioned ""Monkey Shoulder"". This is a release of 103 chimply spectacular bottles. That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles single malts, single grains, blended malts, blends and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic-novel-style labels.
