50cl / 41.50% - A rich, fruity, and floral treat whipped up to celebrate 10 years of That Boutique-y Whisky Company. This is a curveball of a treat, as it's not whisky, but Calvados, the delightful French cider spirit that becomes the first to be bottled for That Boutique-y Calvados Company. A total of 366 bottles, to be precise. From Christian Drouin, this one was distilled at the very end of the year 2000 under Appellation Calvados Pays DAuge Controlee, meaning the ciders may contain a maximum of 30% perry pears, and pot still distillation is mandatory. A sherry cask full of the spirit was sent over to Bristol for maturation (similar to how some Cognac is ""early landed""), which makes this a rare bottling. As Calvados aficionados will tell you, this makes it one of only eight 'early landed' casks ever to be produced, while a change in laws means Calvados can no longer be aged outside of Normandy. This sort of thing will not happen again.
