70cl / 47.00% - This Cognac from Chez Richon was made with Ugni Blanc and Folle Blanche grapes from chalky soil in the Grande Champage cru. This beautiful 1987 vintage brandy was then distilled in a small 12-hectolitre still with a relatively straight sided still head to minimise rectification and matured in 350 litre casks for six to eight months in new and then in old Limousin casks. It was then bottled by Hermitage at 47% ABV.
