Bonemeal is an organic, slow-release fertiliser made from sterilised bone that provides essential nutrients primarily phosphate and nitrogen to support strong, healthy plant growth. It is especially effective for promoting vigorous root development and is suitable for a wide range of plants including bulbs, herbaceous plants, shrubs, roses, fruit trees and strawberries. Because it releases nutrients gradually over time, Bonemeal helps plants grow steadily throughout the season and can be applied before sowing or planting, used as a spring top dressing for established plants or applied around fruit trees and bushes in autumn.
