Tasting Notes This is damn fine Damson Gin. Harvey Nichols’ Damson Gin Liqueur is crafted by steeping hand-picked British damsons in London Dry Gin for six months. A little sugar is added to make the juice drop out and balance the tartness of the fruit. Matured patiently exceptionally smooth and intensely juicy it’s delicious to drink on its own from a hip flask paired with tonic water topped up with English Sparkling wine or alternatively mixed with ginger ale for a refreshing Damson Mule. The Harvey Nichols Damson Gin Liqueur is made exclusively for us in Gloucestershire by fruit farmers turned liqueur specialists Bramley & Gage using a 200-litre copper pot still called Kathleen. This expensive piece of kit contains a unique double sphere condenser which creates more copper contact resulting in a sleek and silky finish to their spirits.
