Lamberts Pure Fish Oil is a fish oil supplement, a high source of omega-3 fatty acids. These capsules contain concentrated fish oil which provides 700 mg of Omega 3 per capsule. Fish oil is put through a sophisticated purification procedure and five steps of molecular distillation to ensure that the final product is largely odorless and has levels well below the tight restrictions set by the European Union. Natural vitamin E is added to prevent oxidation of the oil contained within the capsule. The beneficial ingredients of fish oil are the two Ω3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA. Contradiction: EPA lowers blood pressure by increasing the effect of antihypertensive medication. Additionally, it is contraindicated in the concomitant administration of anticoagulant therapy. Also, studies have shown that fish oils reduce the effects of birth control pills.
