StarFix PFT self-tapping pan head masonry screws with full 7.5mm diameter hi-lo thread for superior grip and durability. Screws directly into pre-dilled pilot holes, without the need for plugs or anchors. The pan heads wide, flat underside distributes force evenly, without pinching the material, so is perfect for securing metal objects. The patented StarForm hi-lo thread create exceptionally strong fixings, quickly and easily. The high thread, cuts into the masonry, whilst the low thread compacts loose material for better resistance to pull-out. StarFix masonry screws allow removal and reinsertion, without stripping and compromising the tapped hole. They are a favourite of the window and door industry, for fixing aluminium and PVCu frames to brick, concrete and stone.
