The company was brought under the ownership of the Tillings and BAT groups of companies in 1928, registered under the name of \u2018Lincolnshire RoadCar Company Limited\u2019. During nationalisation Lincolnshire was ran by the British Transport Commission, then following privatisation in 1985 it was later sold to Yorkshire Traction Group and was re-branded as \u2018RoadCar\u2019 in 1988.
