Chocolate Malt is used in the production of darker beers including bitters, ruby ales, milds, stouts and porters. \n\nIt can of course be mixed with the lighter malts to recreate your favourite beer or perhaps create your own secret recipe. \n\nChocolate malt should be used sparingly (no more than 5% of total malt content of your brew) and has a strong coffee flavour with notes of mild burnt toast. This malt is similar to black malt but less harsh and bitter. \nThis malt is produced by Warminster Malts, has a colour of between 1070 and 1310 EBCs and is supplied ready crushed in 100gm, 500gm, 1Kg, 3Kg and 5Kg packs.
