Airfix 1/72 Sherman Firefly Vc\n\nModel Kit\n\nStarter Set includes 3 Acrylic Paints, Poly Cement and Paint Brush\n\n20 mm Scale\n\n \n\nBrand new and unbuilt. \n\nRef : AX68221\n\nBased on the M4A4, the Firefly was a British conversion where the standard 75mm was replaced with the British 17 Pounder Anti Tank gun. The hull machine gun (and gunner) were removed to make additional room for ammunition storage. An external bin was added to the back of the turret in response to the loss of interior space from mounting the much larger gun. \n\nFireflies were allocated on the basis of one Firefly for every three standard Shermans giving a troop of four tanks with sufficient firepower to take on the Panthers and Tigers. \n\nStarter Set includes three acrylic paints, poly cement and one paint brush.\n\nWhether for wargaming or just building for display this brand new kit is a beauty.
